Service categories and descriptions

Have you been waiting for some good news? We are thrilled to announce a new feature: Service Categories and descriptions.

This option allows you to organize your services by category, simplifying your client’s search process and offering them a better booking experience. Plus, you’ll now be able to add service descriptions, which will help them better understand the services you’re offering. 

With this update, Goldie aims to improve the organization and efficiency of your services.

How do you create a service category?

This option will be available on both web and mobile platforms. Below, you’ll find a step-by-step guide on how to create a service category and add a description.

To create a service category, open the Goldie app and go to Menu > Services. When you tap the “+” button in the lower-right corner of the screen, you will be prompted with options to “Add category” or “Add service,” which will allow you to create categories and assign services to them.

After you create them, you will be able to reorder your categories anytime with a drag-and-drop functionality.

Each category will have specific actions: “Add service,” “Edit category name,” and “Delete category.”

Note: Adding a service description will be available for all users at Goldie, while creating service categories will only be available for Pro and Pro Plus users.

I’m so excited about the new feature. I’ve already made use of it. It’s really the only thing that it was missing in my opinion. This feature will cut down client questions about my services for sure!
