Exciting New Features Available: Goldie Widget & Schedule View

Goldie’s got good news again! 🎉 We have made some important changes and added new features that will make it easier and faster for you to take action on your appointments. What does this mean exactly? Well, now you can add a widget on your home screen to see and manage your appointments even easier. Plus, there’s a new display option available for your calendar.

1. Goldie Widget

If you’re wondering what a widget is and why you should use one, the answer is here. It is a small, interactive tool that can be embedded in your iPhone’s home screen. Widgets offer quick access to real-time information without the need to navigate through multiple screens or menus. Also, they provide direct access to commonly used features, reducing the steps needed to accomplish a task. 

For instance, the Goldie widget displays the appointment that is currently in progress and your upcoming appointments and allows you to take key actions, such as:

• Take Payment: This button opens the Payment Method screen for the current appointment, enabling you to complete transactions effortlessly.
• Add Notes: This button opens the Edit Appointment screen, where you can add important notes related to the current appointment.
• Send Message: This button opens the Choose Message screen with the upcoming message preselected, making it convenient to communicate with clients or customers.
• + more: Tap this button to open the Schedule view, providing an overview of all your upcoming appointments.

How to add the Goldie widget

To add a Goldie widget on your iPhone, just follow these simple steps:

• Ensure that your device is running iOS 14 or later.
• Press and hold an empty area on your home screen until the apps start jiggling.
• Tap the “+” icon in the top left corner of the screen.
• Search for “Goldie Widget” in the search bar.
• Select the widget size you prefer (small, medium, or large).
• Tap “Add Widget.”

2. Schedule view

Besides the widget, we have also introduced a new calendar view option. The new schedule view lets you quickly see your appointments without any gaps. From the schedule view, you can also perform the most important actions, such as taking payments, adding notes, or sending messages. To access this view option, simply tap the bottom left button on your calendar, or open the top right menu and select the calendar view you prefer.
