Customizable fields: Goldie app

We’re happy to announce that we’ve introduced Customizable Fields – a useful addition to our appointment booking app that allows clients to provide more comprehensive details about their appointments when they book online.

We understand the importance of having all the essential information at hand to provide personalized services, and this feature is the perfect solution to achieve that.

With the Customizable Field, you can now collect your clients’ photos, location information, health details, and other relevant information for your business.

Benefits of the customizable field

Personalization: You can use this feature to ask clients for specific design/color/shape preferences or describe the service they desire in detail.

📷 Photo Upload: You have the ability to receive photos from clients to understand their needs better.

📍 Location Information: If you are a mobile professional, you can ask clients to provide their location to plan your schedule accordingly.

How to customize the field

To enable Customizable Fields, go to  Menu > Settings > Online Booking > Booking Website.

By default, the Customizable Field will be pre-populated as “Message”. However, you can change the title according to your requirements. What’s more, you can add a description to provide clear instructions to your clients about what kind of information you expect them to fill in this field.

It’s important to note that the Customizable Field can be set as “required” or “optional” based on your preferences. If the field is not required, it will be displayed with the title followed by “(optional).” On the other hand, if the field is marked as required, your clients must fill in at least one character, upload a photo or provide location details before proceeding with the booking.

Wow what incredible new features.. this makes accepting new clients a breeze. I always have to “accept or decline” their appointments knowing nothing about them so this is absolutely superb!! Thank you for providing users on your platform with an even better experience and even more reason to continually recommend your fantastic service.

This is a great option to have! I would also love if we have the ability to have a description field for each service we offer. Which is particularly helpful for new clients who have never used you before and may not be familiar with each of your offering inclusion. Thank you!
